In the 1990’s the United Nations offered a peace guarantee to the Miskitu Nation if they agreed to ceasing the war and disarmament under protection of the U N. Charters. The United Nation’s Mr. James Anya was sent to the Miskitu territory to review their plight. He never reached there, Mr. James Anaya, Remained in Managua Nicaragua gathering information about the Miskitu from Nicaraguan government and never stepped foot in Miskitu Land or spoke to any of the Miskitu leaders. He returned with a report to the U N. stating that the Miskitu people could not read or write and incapable of governing themselves…
WE and OUR LANDS, ECO/ENVIRONMENTS ARE BEING, STARVED, EXTERMINATED, ROBBED and totally ignored!
When we applied to the UN for help – We got nothing, not any answer. They ignored us completely. We offered to sit in the UN and negotiate a workable agreement but again, no answer from Mr. BK Moon. Mean while the US stands by and does or says nothing while their back door is wide open to a crisis far more critical than the Cuban conflict that threatened the world in the nineteen sixties. We have contacted over 450 congress men senators’ president and news media and received only a handful of responses. In all of our endeavors we have looked for peaceful solutions, it becomes obvious that without arms we have very little voice but we cannot allow our people to be killed like cattle. This is the kind of situation that is dangerous.
